Star-Shaped Godminster Organic Cheddar

Christmas has started in our stores! Starting with these Christmas star-shaped organic cheddar from Godminster.

Godminster is an award-winning organic cheddar, handmade using organic cow's milk from their farm outside of Burton, Somerset.

The cheddar is both sharp and creamy, a rare combination. Wrapped in a burgundy wax rind and shaped into a star, it is perfect on a platter or on its own.

Stichelton

Nothing says Christmas more than an English blue cheese. This year, we have decided to up a notch from our regular Colston Bassett Stilton, Stichelton.

Stichelton is a raw milk version of Stilton. A blue cheese made by Joe Schneider on the Welbeck Estate in Nottinghamshire. It is aged for 3 to 5 months, where the cheese is allowed to slowly develop.

Stichelton is creamy and nutty with a rich yet gentle blue note.

Comte 36 months

While our regular range of Comte is aged up to 24 months, this Christmas special Comte is aged 36 months. Expect a crunchier texture with denser flavours with notes of grilled fruit, nuts and caramel.

A great way to savour this is to have a cheese platter with Comtes of different ages, enjoy the variety of flavours and textures, and determine your favourite!

Reblochon

By now we have mentioned many traditional cheeses for Christmas (aged Cheddar, Stichelton) except one — Reblochon!

Our Reblochon de Savoie Fermier has a glossy, silky paste with a slight funk and fruity, yeasty aromas.

It is known as the cheese for cheese bakes and Tartiflette, yet our Reblochon Fermier is outstanding on its own as well.
