After months of experimenting with many different blends of cheeses, we are ready to launch our very first fondue cheese mix. Super simple, super easy and majorly delicious! All you need is a bag of fondue cheese mix, lemon juice and white wine or chicken stock. Pair it with sourdough bread, potatoes, carrots and even green apples.
Each pack is 400g which is enough for 3 to 4 people.
Cooking instructions:
Ingredients:
400g Classic Fondue Cheese Mix
1/2 cup dry white wine such as Chardonnay or chicken stock
2 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1. In a heavy saucepan/cast iron pot/claypot, bring wine/chicken stock and lemon into a light simmer over LOW heat. (Do not allow to boil)
2. Working with LOW heat, add cheese mix into the pot 1 handful at a time, stirring well between each addition. Once smooth, it's ready to dip.
3. If the fondue cools down and hardens, put back onto the stove and reheat under LOW heat.
Recommended Dippers: Sourdough, Boiled/roasted potatoes, Sausages, Bacon, Green apples, Broccoli
