Parmigiano Reggiano has a dense crumbly texture, dotted with crispy-crunchy crystals (formed by tyrosine protein crystals). Ultra savoury and robust, Parmigiano Reggiano is full of natural umami flavour with acidic and fruity notes.
Though popularly used as an ingredient in pasta, this 36-months Parmigiano Reggiano is great eaten on its own, nibbled by the chunk, or with a dash of good quality Balsamic Vinegar.
